Explore Tanjong Pagar like your home

Located at the gateway of the Central Business District, Tanjong Pagar has an interesting mix of old and new charm. It is home to one of the oldest Historic Districts with beautifully conserved shophouses, local hawker centres and markets, hotels, residences, and also the tallest building in Singapore.

The precinct also has a diverse mix of uses such as commercial, hotel, residential (private and public housing); as well as some of the most popular local food, traditional pastries and teahouses.

Discover Tanjong Pagar is a private-sector led partnership inaugurated in August 2019 formed by property owners in the precinct to carry out the placemaking of the precinct.

Set up under Urban Redevelopment Authority’s pilot Business Improvement District (BID) programme, the property owners aim to build a strong community, connecting people and businesses and create a place where people want to be.
